JPNDC
Trabajando por un Boston equitativo. JPNDC's mission is to transform the lives and amplify the voices of Boston residents who have been excluded from prosperity by an inequitable economic system. We develop affordable housing that allows people to thrive, provide services that help people build on their strengths, and organize people to pursue the changes they desire.

Advocacy changes lives. With the support and persistence of Liolga Atiles, RAMWP Case Manager, a JPNDC resident had her housing voucher reinstated, resolving over $16,000 in arrears and restoring housing stability. This is the power of steady, compassionate advocacy in action.

We were excited to welcome students from the Designing Environmental and Social Impact DESI program, a semester long paid internship run by the Hideo Sasaki Foundation, for a tour of JPNDC’s 3371 Washington Street development currently under construction.
The future affordable housing community will include 39 permanently affordable senior apartments along with an activity space designed to support connection and community.
During the visit, JPNDC’s Real Estate team led a mini training on the affordable housing development process, giving students a behind the scenes look at how projects move from early planning to construction and completion.
It was inspiring to connect with the next generation of designers and community leaders and share the importance of equitable housing and mission driven development in strengthening our neighborhoods.

JPNDC is deeply thankful to Senator Mike Rush for sponsoring and Senator Liz Miranda for co-sponsoring a $100,000 earmark in the FY27 Senate Budget in support of our Micro-to-Small Business Services Program. This critical investment can strengthen our ability to provide technical assistance, individualized financial coaching, business education workshops, and financial assistance to local entrepreneurs.
Support like this helps ensure that micro and small businesses in our community have access to the tools and guidance they need to grow and scale. We are grateful to Senator Mike Rush and Senator Liz Miranda for their commitment to economic prosperity and neighborhood-based micro and small business development.
