Hi Everyone! We wanted to remind you all about our in-person Ketoween event, which will be on October 25th from 11 am to 2 pm. We will be meeting at a professional kitchen to learn techniques from Chef Alejandro to cook a keto/LGIT friendly 3-course lunch! We will also have a separate space for kids to play Halloween games and activities lead by our staff before they get to sample their parent's cooking. Due to space constraints, there will be limited availability for this event. If you are part of our dietary therapy program family, please keep an eye out for an email with the link to sign up! If you have any questions, please email [email protected] or [email protected].

On July 26th, we hosted our 7th Sunflower Syndrome Family Conference. It was an incredible experience, with families coming from all over the US to learn more about Sunflower Syndrome. We had presentations on Sunflower Syndrome, the psychological aspects of epilepsy, mindfulness, genetics of Sunflower Syndrome, parenthood and Sunflower Syndrome, and the lived experience of Sunflower Syndrome. With help from the Epilepsy Foundation of New England, we had different activities for the children, including making Lego mosaics, courtesy of 603 Brix. At the end, we wrapped up with lunch, ice cream from John’s Dream Ice Cream, and a trip to the Sports Museum at TD Garden! We had a fantastic time and hope to see everyone again next year!

Thank you to our sponsors, Neurelis and Jazz Pharmaceuticals, as well as John’s Dream Ice Cream, for their continued support of our epilepsy program and for helping us put on this fantastic event.
