“Gnar Board” - Halloween 2020
Ever since I first rode a Onewheel I thought it must feel similar to what it feels like to surf. After forming some aluminum into the shape of a surfboard, mounting it to the fender screws, and taking it for a test ride I knew I was onto something. Add in a faux boombox fender, an actual Bluetooth speaker handle for cranking tunes, some LED strips (because of course) and a Mylar “wave skirt” and I was ready to savor some gnar. Halloween night, unfortunately, was freezing cold and wet from a day of rain, so I had to go with a different glowing costume. This is some footage from a beautiful fall day when I got to take it out on the town for a ride.
