First time ever watching the parade from indoors, but honestly it wasnt a bad idea with 3 kiddos! The vibes (and snackingđ) were still high.
Hope everyone had a great parade day!đŽđŞ
Is the market finally thawing?
After a multi-year freeze, weâre starting to see much more movement again. Rates have eased and transactions are picking up.
That said, the market is still sensitive. If oil and inflation move higher, rates could follow, which could put pressure on activity again.
In South Boston, this does not feel like a boom. It feels like stagnation with selective repricing.

We had the best time checking out the ferris wheel on the last night! The city views from the top were unreal. Highly recommend!!
One clean offer is a win in 2026.
Sellers still dream of 10 offers, but the game has changed drastically.
A clean buyer with great terms is almost a certainty, not a disappointment.
My general advice: Take some chips off the table when you can, close clean, and move on.
If youâre thinking about selling. Letâs chat. Itâll be worth it.

This weekendâs storm + hard freeze is when small maintenance misses turn into big insurance claims. Run this checklist now so you donât run into big problems later!
âď¸Keep your heat at at least 64 degrees to avoid pipes bursting.
âď¸Confirm you can access and operate the main water shutoff and the unit/stack valves, and label them clearly so you can act fast in an emergency.
âď¸Freeze-proof now by insulating exposed pipes, disconnecting hoses, wrapping spigots, opening exterior-wall sink cabinets during deep cold, and running a slow trickle on high-risk lines.
âď¸Prevent water intrusion by caulking and weatherstripping, closing storm windows and doors, cleaning gutters, and checking roof flashings.
âźď¸If your pipes freeze and you have no water contact the BWSC emergency line: 617-989-7000 is the 24-hour emergency number.
âźď¸After the snow be sure to clear sidewalks and curb ramps within 3 hours after the snow ends (or within 3 hours after sunrise if it ends overnight), maintain a 42-inch path, and donât push snow into the street.
Stay safe out there and enjoy the weekend!
