Our hearts are grieving. Earlier this week, the head cook at Mani Public School, Ma Miatta, and a promising young man, Jonathan, both lost their lives in 2 separate accidents in Cape Mount County. Ma Miatta was always so kind and last year, Jonathan helped paint and prepare for the dedication at Konjah Public School where he was also top in his class. Our thoughts are with their families.

A reminder to all to be careful while driving and a plea to our Liberian leaders to fix the roads. These were avoidable tragedies.

As we reflect on another year, may we look to the future with hope and strategies for a better tomorrow....to leave Liberia for the next generation, better than we found it. Happy 178th Independence, Mama Liberia 🇱🇷
