Attention, Bostonians! Community Works and the Emerson College Elma Lewis Center will host the 9th Annual Share a Laugh comedy showcase at the Paramount Theater this Thursday at 7:30 PM!

We are pleased to announce that Words Apart's 8th issue, "Displacement," will go live on March 23! We received a large number of amazing submissions, so this issue promises to be one of our best yet!

We will be celebrating the launch of "Displacement" with a Story Slam from 4-5 p.m. on March 23 in Emerson College's Skybox!

If you are interested in participating in the Displacement Story Slam, please contact us at [email protected]. The winner of this competition will go on to compete with past winners for a chance to win $500!
