Love Your Block is back in Andrew Square πŸ’ͺ🧹

Or as we like to call it… Love Your Za-block-i 😏

Join us on Saturday, April 25th from 10am–1pm as we team up with the City of Boston to clean up and show some love to our neighborhood. We’ll be meeting at the Preble Street Lotβ€”just bring yourself, we’ll have all the supplies (and donuts 🍩) ready to go.

Whether you’re a regular or it’s your first time getting involved, this is an easy way to meet neighbors and make a real impact right here in Andrew Square.

Calling all Andrew Square neighbors πŸ‘‹πŸ—£οΈ ASCA is collecting resident feedback through a quick 5–10 minute Neighborhood Needs Survey. We want to make sure resident voices are leading the conversation as the neighborhood continues to change β€” from day-to-day issues like safety 🚦 and transit πŸš‡ to bigger topics like housing 🏘️, open space 🌳, and new development πŸ—οΈ.

Your responses help ASCA advocate to the City of Boston and clearly share community priorities with groups planning projects in the area. Anonymous unless you choose to share contact info at the end βœ…

πŸ‘‰ Hit the link below to take the survey β€” thank you for taking a few minutes to help shape Andrew Square! πŸ’™

This Halloween, ASCA got into the spirit of things β€” by planting a new tree right in the heart of Andrew Square! πŸŒ³πŸŽƒ

Earlier this week, Todd Mistor, Director of Urban Forestry at the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, and his team added new trees along Preble Street and around the Square. Today, ASCA members Scott Westerman and Gerry Craig joined in for one last planting under Todd’s guidance β€” right in the center of the Square.

President Linda Zablocki was on-site keeping a close eye on the crew to make sure no one ghosted on their duties! πŸ‘»

A greener Square and another project complete β€” we’re grateful for the partnership and hard work of Todd and his team. πŸ’š
