We Knew JFK is a radio documentary in oral history form, built around the recorded recollections of people who knew Jack Kennedy personally. Robert MacNeil, narrator of We Knew JFK, will return to his old show, the PBS NewsHour, tonight (Thursday 11/21), for a conversation w/ Jim Lehrer on JFK's assassination. Both of them were in Dallas, covering Kennedy's visit, when it happened, but didn't know each other at the time.
