But this is something I’ve been really excited about for a while…
A personal AI, that deeply understands my behavior, habits, & health data.
I want it to text me every morning, letting me know how I slept, and WHY I slept that way
Having more data allows businesses to make better decisions…
Is it an advantage for our health too?
Of course.
So today, I installed “home assistant” on a raspberry pi. It’s like Alexa or Google home, but way more powerful & open source.
I put the raspberry pi in a case with a fan, because it’s going to be running 24/7 and I don’t want it to overheat.
I’ll use this to connect smart devices, run automations, build dashboards, & “control” my apartment.
& no, I’m not gonna give Mr Altman all of my health data (I can see the comments already). I might run some tests with OpenAI, but eventually this assistant will run 100% locally
