'A lot of light': One year after the unimaginable, Tyler Lawrence's mother reflects on the life of her son Tyler Lawrence, a 13-year-old from Norwood, was shot and killed near his grandparents' home in Mattapan on Jan. 29, 2023. He was sweet, loving, forgiving and kind, said his mother. She still feels like she is waiting for him to come home.
