As you celebrate with family and friends, please remember that all fireworks are illegal in Massachusetts. Each year, fireworks cause serious injuries, fires, and significant property damage.

Celebrate safely by attending a professional fireworks display in your community and leave the fireworks to the professionals.

⛑️🔥🚒Today, the Boston Fire Prevention Education Unit is reflecting on the many school visits we've had the privilege of participating in throughout the years.

From classroom presentations and firehouse tours to hands-on safety demonstrations, educating Boston's students has always been one of our most important missions. Seeing young people learn life-saving fire safety skills while having fun makes every visit worthwhile.

Thank you to all of the teachers, administrators, students, and school staff who have welcomed us into their schools. We look forward to continuing to educate and inspire the next generation.

What an incredible event! It was a wonderful day connecting with families, sharing life saving fire safety tips, and celebrating the bond between dads and their little ones. 👨‍👧‍👦
