Reminder: donโ€™t race your long ride today ๐Ÿšจ

The majority of your long rides should be spent in Zone 2 โ€” an effort that feels controlled, sustainable, and repeatable.

This is where you build aerobic fitness, improve endurance, develop fat oxidation, and practice the fueling habits that matter on race day.

๐Ÿคจ๐Ÿ’ญNot sure if youโ€™re training in the right zones or getting the most out of your workouts? Working with a coach can help ensure every session has a purpose and fits into a bigger plan.

From Spain to Florida to Vancouver Island, LifeSport athletes were out there putting in WORK this weekend ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿป๐ŸŒ

๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ At Challenge Salou, Young Gun Maia Watson finished 9th in the Pro field AND set PRs in all THREE legs ๐Ÿคฏโšก๏ธ

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ At 70.3 Gulf Coast, the day delivered wet roads, soggy conditions, and a shortened 1K swim โ€” but our crew showed up ready to grind:
Caroline Kratz returned to 70.3 racing after more than a decade and threw down a ๐ŸŒŸ5:34 despite cramping on the run and walking the back half.
๐ŸŒŸMatt Trussell took AN HOUR off his previous 70.3 time
๐ŸŒŸ Dan Higgins put together a strong, steady race and showed huge improvement. Smooth, composed, and resilient through a lot going on outside of racing

๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Back on the East Coast, Marion Cornish absolutely crushed her first marathon in Fredericton

And closer to home, the LifeSport crew raced the Westwood Triathlon on Vancouver Island ๐ŸŒฒ Shoutout to Barbara Polehoykie, Patrick Silva, Patrick Graham, Bibi Benekou, Carla Anne Valentine, Glenn Van As, and Coach Lance Watson for a great day of racing ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Proud of everyone who toed the line this weekend. The work always shows up eventually ๐Ÿ’™
