Happy Saturday! The Pierce-Cook Community Garden has been stewarded by The Guild and our intergenerational neighbors since 2012. This was a blighted, abandoned site that our community transformed into a beautiful community asset filled with beautiful herbs and fresh vegetables. “Thousands of hands hold this work” Our is like no other, continuously showing up with a generous heart, kind spirit, and unwavering commitment to supporting our community. Originally from South Carolina, Terry moved to Boston as a child and now lives in Dorchester. He is a beautifully committed volunteer, providing a helping hand with everything we do from cleaning and maintaining the Pierce-Cooke Communal Garden to distributing bags of food to our neighbors during pantry, and everything in between! He is one of the sweetest and most kind spirited people and his presence brightens our day!🥰🥰🥰 We love you and greatly appreciate you, Terry!
