The Translational Research Program at Boston University, directed by Dr. Michael Otto, investigates a range of clinical disorders including anxiety, mood, and substance use disorders.

Do you struggle with worry and anxiety?
Do you have a history of stroke or heart problems?

You may be eligible to participate in an online research study using an app-based program for worry and anxiety.

What do I do in the study?
All participants receive an app-based program for anxiety and worry at the beginning or end of the study.
You will be asked to complete 4 online questionnaires and 1 phone call during the 10-week study.
You can receive up to $60.

Who can participate?
People who have experienced a stroke, heart attack, cardiac arrest, or other severe heart problem and experience difficulty with general worry and anxiety.
You must be age 18+ and have access to a smartphone.

Do you have a mood or anxiety disorder? Are you interested in contributing to research on substance use? Our research group at Boston University is currently recruiting for a study investigating cognitive and behavior patterns. Must be in the Boston area and able to complete 4 hour in-person study visit at Boston University.
