You’re Fired! When you’ve decided to move on

We don’t really think of it this way, but we’re hiring a doctor for a service of reviewing our bodies and giving us the results of their analysis of what they interpret what might be wrong. If we continue going back and don’t get results, we need to be proactive and fire them. There are so many reasons to fire a doctor. They may just not believe that you have a problem and be rude about it. They may just give you an uneasy feeling. You might want a second opinion. They might have the worst bedside manner. They might tell you to lose or gain weight and whatever will magically go away. They might tell disagree with another doctor you’re seeing and you don’t know which one to believe. They might not work well with others. They might stop working with your insurance. Whatever the reason – you are in control of your health. You do not have to keep seeing the doctor! You can fire them at any time.
