Colescott Rubin

g artists, including Esperanza Spalding, Patrice Rushen, Catherine Russell, and John Legend. He lives in Boston and is currently on staff at Berklee College of Music, where he also graduated on a Presidential Scholarship. Last year he received the Boston Opportunity Fund Grant by the City of Boston to support his career with his brother as the Rubin Brothers. He has performed at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Monterey Jazz Fest, the Louis Armstrong Festival, playing shows regularly across New England when not on tour. He writes songs in a variety of styles and is releasing his debut album this year. He is also a jazz clown, unicyclist, juggler, partner acrobat, & vaudevillian.
