This week, JP staff are off and our offices are closed to provide intentional space to rest and recharge.

We will return on July 6th, ready to continuing the work of disrupting the cycle of poverty for families two generations at a time. 🧡

This past weekend, the JP Boston community gathered to celebrate its largest graduating class of JP moms to date. This year, four moms earned bachelor’s degrees and seven earned associates degrees (and will be remaining with JP as they pursue their bachelor's degree). Our graduation celebration also honored 17 JP kids who achieved significant educational milestones this year. During the ceremony, one JP child delivered a commencement address to an audience of loved ones, Trustees, donors, and staff to illustrate the advantage that tutoring gave her in getting into a competitive middle school. One of the graduating moms delivered a baccalaureate address during which she reminded us that earning this degree does not represent the ending of a story, but rather one more page.
