Congratulations to our partners at MAPLE on a terrific event at the State House this month! PID President & CEO Jerren Chang joined MAPLE’s Matt Victor & Nathan Sanders and others for “Civic Tech in Action: Empowering Engagement Through Innovation.”
Jerren & Matt are in Maine today as Northeastern University’s Roux Institute hosts “Foundations for the Digital Commons: Aligning Technology, Law, and Innovation for the Common Good" - see the link in comments!
The Massachusetts legislature is about to hold a crucial hearing on important democracy renovation measures, and we want to make sure your voice is heard! Join Partners In Democracy on Monday, September 15th at 6:00 PM for a virtual workshop on how to prepare and submit written or oral testimony in support of same-day voter registration and voting rights restoration.
The next day (9/16) at 1pm at the State House & virtually, the legislature is set to hold a hearing covering both bills. PID wants you to show up & show out for these two incredibly important pieces of priority legislation!

The public sphere of a free society should be shaped by civic participants who wield only words and the power drawn from relationships.
