Was Krautrok or the Dunedin sound the source of inspiration for Indie Rock???

These photos are from a July 20th Swirlies show at Daily Operation in EastHampton, Ma. I always feel self conscious when taking photos of bands at shows. There were several shows I went to recently that I saw J Mascis in the audience, and each time I couldn’t bring myself to take a photo of him in the audience. So that’s why it’s not a great photo.
Anyway, the Swirlies show was sold out and it was packed in the the restaurant turned nightclub. Each time I’ve seen them, they sounded amazing. And despite Daily Operation not really being set up well for loud live instruments, it was yet another great swirlies show!
