How can I even begin to condense this weekend into one post.

The connections made were entirely amazing.

I met people who are no doubt going to be the next Elon Musk’s of our generation.

In this panel and the ones that followed, I learned so much about leadership, grit, preserverance and conviction in what you believe in.

When I think about billion dollar valuations, billion dollar companies and billion dollar mindsets, there is a level of transcendence that comes with that.

That is what this weekend was about.

Volatility doesn’t destroy wealth.
Behavior does. 📉

When markets fall, it’s not just numbers on a screen.

It’s emotion.

Fear creeps in.
Headlines get louder.
Every notification feels urgent.

And the instinct is simple:
do something.

Sell.
Wait.
Move to cash.

But markets don’t really test our intelligence.

They test our ability to stay calm when everything feels uncertain.

The investors who navigate volatility best tend to do a few things differently:

• Stay invested when it feels uncomfortable
• Rebalance instead of reacting
• See price drops as opportunities, not panic signals

Because over time, volatility itself rarely destroys long-term returns.

Emotional decisions do.

The real edge in investing isn’t predicting markets.

It’s staying grounded when fear tries to take control. 🌱

As we advance into all things tech related and as I continually sharpen my skills in finance, I am learning a few things:

Capital isn’t scarce.
Discipline is. 💼

I’ve seen what happens when money moves without intention.

It creates noise. Not impact.

Money moves fast.

But…

Structure lasts. 🏗️

In advisory, and in building long-term initiatives, the principles don’t change:

Clarity. 🎯
Risk awareness. ⚖️
Time horizon. ⏳
Accountability. 📊

When capital is aligned, it builds something real. 📈

Not reactive.
Not emotional.
Intentional. 🔒

That’s the standard.

As Always,

M

🌱 In 2020, I started the Global Youth Climate Action Fund (GYCAF) after seeing so many emerging climate leaders with brilliant ideas… but limited access to funding, governance support, and long-term capital.

👗I also noticed I was often one of the few women in the room. That experience shaped how I approach this work: with care, accountability, and a focus on building systems that last.

GYCAF bridges next-generation climate innovators with aligned capital partners; prioritizing credibility, ex*****on, and sustainable impact over short-term visibility.

📈Now, as we scale, there’s an urgent opportunity for partners, supporters, and investors to help these leaders thrive. Together, we can make sure the next generation of climate leaders isn’t just seen… but empowered to deliver.

As Always,

M
