In 2011, Ryan had a mountain bike accident that injured his spine at the C4 vertebrae level. Since his accident Ryan has become a mentor and advocate for those with a spinal cord injury/disability. Over the course of Ryanโs rehab, Ryan's parents, Diane and Ron found that a lot of their answers actually came from sharing information resources with other family members. They now offer a weekly virtual meeting with other family members, to help them find their own answers, and most importantly to be able to listen to their stories and concerns about what to do next.
