Equity Intersection

📢 New Course 📢
In an era marked by increasing efforts to ban books—a reflection of deeper societal divisions—our discussions on racism, antisemitism, and systemic injustice gain new urgency. These book bans, emerging in the wake of significant social movements, signal a broader struggle over whose stories are told and heard, affecting our ability to understand and advocate for equity.
Join us for a series of discussions that connect the dots between book banning, historical injustices, and the quest for a more equitable society. We aim to explore how these censorship efforts impact our collective dialogue and ways to foster a more inclusive understanding of the diverse narratives that shape our world.

Something spooky's in the air and it's got us asking a lot of questions...
Why have legislatures in more than 40 states banned or considered banning the use of The 1619 Project in schools? What are they afraid of? Who is behind this effort? What are the implications for the future health of our democracy?
Join us to explore all of these questions in our next virtual course: “Who’s Afraid of the 1619 Project?".
