We’ve had a standing lunch date for more than a year now—every Wednesday. We started at restaurants and have shifted over the last few months to meet at Kara’s house every week.

I’ve known these women for more than a decade, and I’ve watched each of them walk through really hard things in life—sickness, loss, kids leaving home for college and missions, unexpected diagnoses… the kinds of challenges that truly change you.

Life can be heavy, and it can be heartbreaking. But the hard things seem a lot easier to bear when you can find joy with each other and always have reasons to laugh.

And these Wednesdays… I don’t take a single one for granted—we’ll keep showing up, week after week, for as long as we can. 🤍

I didn’t realize that an elephant ear hosta was literally the size of an Elephant Ear 🤦🏻‍♀️

It may be into the 3rd week of school, but today was the first time I could snap a picture of Halle when it wasn’t dark outside as she left to early morning drill!

Teenagers really are the best!!! Halle is a senior 😭, Marin a sophomore and Drew is an 8th grader. They fill our home with so much laughter and joy every single day. Life is busy right now while everyone is running in different directions. We try and find moments to slow down and spend together. Will misses them more than ever! We couldn’t ask for more ❤️
