Pew Research states: (February 2026 study):

**30%** of employed caregivers say caregiving negatively affected their job or career
**47%** of women (vs. 30% of men) report negative emotional well-being impact
**69%** of Americans support requiring employers to provide paid family leave
**71%** support government funding for short-term respite care

On the employer side: employees who receive caregiving support are **30% more likely to stay.**

This isn't a personal problem. It's a workforce issue. And the data supports that claim.

The National Alliance for Caregiving is holding its 2nd Annual Champions in Care Forum. As healthcare reforms increasingly prioritize value, outcome, and equity, remain a missing link in both and practice. In partnership with the Coalition to Transform Advanced Care (C-TAC), this forum will explore how to meaningfully integrate family caregivers and the services that support them into care delivery models.
