So, wait? Are we wearing fur again? Most houses are no longer working with genuine fur, and it’s been banned by NYFW. But fur is still around, like this beautiful vintage fox from the 1980’s. When stored properly, a genuine fur coat can last longer than the individual who originally bought it. Fur is a hot topic but it’s important to remember that faux fur is essentially made of plastic so it isn’t biodegradable and just contributes to the already overwhelming amount of plastic pollution in our world. Many people do still wear fur in various ways, from vintage to shearling, and more. What’s your take? To fur or not to fur? Vintage? Faux? None at all? How about leather while we’re at it? Wool and silk?
