Mariachi Matters is a music education program, teaching basic music fundamentals applied to traditional Mariachi music. The Mariachi Matters performing ensembles participate in community wide events that support schools, churches, and other organizations, rates apply. ⭐️ 2025 RECAP: The Mariachi Matters Program expanded musical instruction and brought cultural pride to the southwest suburbs. Through rehearsals and performances, students built confidence, formed friendships, and celebrated their heritage in an empowering space. Their music continues to remind us that culture is power and a form of resilience. We officially launched our performing group Mariachi Juvenil Revolucion.
⭐️ El programa Mariachi Matters amplió la enseñanza musical y fomentó el orgullo cultural en los suburbios del suroeste. A través de ensayos y presentaciones, los estudiantes desarrollaron confianza en sí mismos, forjaron amistades y celebraron su herencia en un espacio enriquecedor. Su música nos recuerda que la cultura es poder y una fuente de resiliencia. Y lanzamos el nuevo grupo Mariachi Juvenil Revolucion.
