When The Inner Path first set up this page late in 2014 it was trusted that it would be more of an open forum. A place to respond to, or question the ideas posted by the The Inner Path. It didn't work out that way. The failure may have been due to our lack of understanding of how Facebook works, and/or, there was no invitation to do so.
Please consider yourself invited to do more than just like a post. Feel free to comment and question. If you have not taken the opportunity to "Like", follow or share this page, and you would like to, please do.
What follows is a re-post from December of 2014:
The foundation of a lasting authentic friendship is the ability to express who and what you are, what you feel, openly, honestly, without judgement or the fear of being judged.
Many have experienced what it is to have a true friend, unfortunately, fewer have experienced what it is to be a true friend.
Honor your friendships, cherish them, nurture them; not because there will be a soft place to land when you fall, or because of what they can do for you, or you for them. Honor them, cherish them, nurture them, because it is in that process you will awaken within yourself a love that is truly unconditional, selfless, without expectations or demands.
The experience of being a true friend, and expressing the selfless nature of real friendship, provides an opportunity to open the heart and connect to the divine within.🙏
I am but an egg therefore I struggle!
I struggle so that I may come out of the darkness into the light of truth.
I struggle for the light of truth so that I may perceive reality amidst the haze of illusion.
I struggle to perceive reality so that I may understand.
I struggle to understand so that I may “know”.
I struggle to “know” so that I may break the chains of fear.
I struggle to break the chains of fear so that I may love.
I struggle to love so that I may view the “10,000 things” with compassion.
I am but an egg therefore I struggle!
The Seven Principles Of Life
One. No one is a supreme authority.
Two. No one possesses a precise formula for a perfect life.
Three. No one can know you as well as you know yourself.
Four. The very best you can hope for from the wise is guidance.
Five. It's your journey no one can do it for you.
Six. There is no such thing as a normal life there is only life.
Seven. Should you take issue with one or all the fundamental principles of life, refer to principle number one.
