Boise Straw Bale
Earthcraft Construction worked with Dr. Mark Lung of Eco2Librium to build a passive solar straw bale home and received the 2010 Boise Building Excellence Award. In 2011, Earthcraft and Lung completed a second passive solar straw bale project and the third broke ground in May 2013.

Clean building incorporates design elements and materials to remove environmental hazards by eliminating toxins and the "dirtiest" aspects of residential building, including: duct work, carpets, and crawl spaces. It also addresses ventilation & breathability, off-gassing & toxic materials.
