That’s a wrap!🎉 We’re happy to share that 68 cats and kittens found their forever homes this May.

In a sea of kittens, we were especially thrilled that two of our longest-staying residents, Charles and Oscar, found an amazing home together! This senior pair of best friends had been patiently waiting for three months for someone to choose them.

Their adopter recently shared this sweet update with us:

"Charles (now Charlie) and Oscar have adapted very well. They explore the house daily. There are toys all over the house because they keep grabbing different ones! They are very friendly and always want to be by me when I am home!"

Please don’t overlook senior cats. Bubba and Emma are two of our longest-staying residents who have been patiently waiting nearly four months for a home to spend their golden years together.

At 11 years old, Bubba and his 12-year-old best friend, Emma, are a dream pair for senior cat lovers. They came to Simply Cats because of their person’s health and have leaned on one another through all the changes life has brought them.

These two are happiest when they are near their favorite people. They'll follow you around the room, meow to ask for affection, and begin purring almost instantly when you give them love. If you stop petting Bubba, he’ll gently reach out with his paw to pull your hand back in for more.

Their bond is undeniable. Bubba adores Emma and often grooms her to keep her looking her best. You’ll often catch them resting in neighboring beds, never far from each other. If there's an empty box nearby, Bubba will immediately claim it as his own.

Bubba and Emma are truly some of the sweetest cats you could ever meet! They are mellow, affectionate, and ready to share their golden years with a family who will cherish them as much as they cherish each other. With slow and proper introductions, they could do well sharing a home with other cats. It is unknown how they would do with dogs.
