At Whitney Community Center, the Kid City free drop-in program is available for children in grades 4-6. Staff members provide instruction in fitness and art, homework assistance, and a snack. Teens enjoy an informal gathering space with cozy lounge chairs, computer stations with interactive video games, and a large-screen TV and Wii games. Staff members provide mentoring and life skills development for teens.
