“Declaring my own Independence while burning a 4’ × 5’ foot Declaration of Independence into wood under the Florida Sun for July 4th event.
250 years ago, a people said ‘enough’ to a distant ruler and chose to write their own story.
Some of us are still having that conversation, with our past, with our doubts, with everything that’s held us back.
True independence isn’t given. It’s declared. And sometimes you have to sign it in Sunlight to mean it.
St. Augustine, July 4th, 2026. I’ll be there, signing mine under the same Sun that the original Declaration of Independence was declared under in 1776.

What can I say? Still on cloud nine from this opportunity.🤩 A two-for-one miracle creating the Cover Art for TIME magazine and photographing it for the cover as well.
