This honoree is near to our hearts as our state of Idaho was home to the Minidoka Internment Camp in WWII. We’re thrilled to announce that Mitsuye Endo will be posthumously honored as a social justice champion in this year’s expansion of the Inspiration Alley Project, recognized for her work to bring an end to the unlawful incarceration in concentration camps of U.S. citizens of Japanese ancestry during WWII. Her mural will be painted by later this summer.
