Looking for a Gordon Setter stud dog?…..King was born Feb 2023, and is from an outcross breeding. King has a commanding presence in the field and off. He has a lot of style on point as you can see in the photo of him. King is a calm companion in the house and driven when out for birds. He has placed in several NBHA Walking Field Trials to include receiving a Runner Up Champion in the Open Shooting dog stake of the 2026 NBHA Northern Regional Championship and a 1st Place in an AKC Walking Trial. He has been DNA Health Checked through AKC and is clear on all items checked. Paperwork available upon request. King is a house dog and is good with other animals and kids. He weighs about 47lbs, has a nice short coat, and nice tight feet, King has good heat tolerance and when running on the prairies in summer training he can keep up with the other long tailed dogs.
King is primarily campaigned with professional Tom Waite of Dale Creek Gundogs in Burlington WI. He spends September on wild sharptails in the prairies North Dakota. Then transitions to the woods in October where he runs in cover dog championships. He then spends the next 3 months on wild pheasants and quail in the Midwest with owner Michael Tewes. King then spends the Spring running on the NBHA open circuit with Tom Waite where he goes to the piney woods of Tennessee and Missouri. He is owned by Michael Tewes.
