Beware of Insurance Scammers!

Scammers are getting more creative, and one of their latest tactics involves posing as insurance companies. They may call, email, or message you, claiming to offer a great deal on coverage or offer a refund (Like the one below)—only to ask for personal details like your Social Security number, bank info.

Always reach out to your agent to ensure legitamacy before clicking or acting on any of these types of messages!

The one below was an email an insured received claiming they are due a large refund. A couple red flags were the amount owed was more than their total policy premium, the policy numbers were not accurate, and they wanted them to click on a link to access the refund.
