Common problems with most pools include the finish. With Gunite pools, the plaster will eventually fail overtime and need to be replaced, which is a costly repair. With fiberglass, the pool surface will never need be to replaced. The one problem that may occur is spider crackings in the gelcoat, the inner surface of the pool. This can be affordably buffed out and then you have a brand new pool surface. It has nothing to do with the structural integrity of the pool. Your pool won’t leak!
