Easily one of the most distinctive designs I’ve had the pleasure of creating. This client envisioned a hidden paradise—a little “Shire” nestled in the heart of the high desert. The goal was to make it feel as though their modern Scandinavian-style home (designed by the talented team at Studio Boise) had risen from the remnants of ancient stone ruins. The landscape blends old-world character with modern comfort: an outdoor kitchen, pavilion structure, expansive garden with a greenhouse, a serene water feature, and a timeless entry framed by stacked stone walls. In the back corner, a quiet pergola completes the scene.

Star, Idaho - Landscape Design

This proposed landscape design for this new build in Star, Idaho features an expansive pool patio with two poolside cabanas, a spacious lawn, and a sunken trampoline and playground area for children. The design incorporates a dense array of trees to provide both a windbreak and privacy from neighboring properties. Additionally, a circular driveway with a bubbler water feature enhances the aesthetic appeal, complemented by colorful plant material and a thoughtfully designed landscape lighting scheme.
