Rotary Club of Boca Raton Sunrise

Today is World Mental Health Day!
One of Rotary International President Gordon McInally initiative this year it’s to increase the awareness of mental health.
Unfortunately our President did suffer a tragic loss due his brother committing su***de as he was suffering from mental health. This is why the focus and the awareness of mental health is very important.

The Rotary Club Boca Raton Sunrise and the Interact Club of FAU High School, in partnership with US Hunger, packaged 10,000 meals that will be delivered to hungry families in the Boca Raton Community.
Thank you to the YMCA for graciously providing the venue for our club to accomplish this service project.
We also want to thank the support of the five Rotarians from Rotary Club Downtown Boca Raton, Kindness Angels volunteers and volunteers from Spanish River High for helping and spreading awareness and, most of all, Boca Helping Hands for picking up the meals and delivering them to families in need.
We had 40 people in attendance! THANK YOU EVERYONE!

NEXT SATURDAY! The Rotary Club Boca Raton Sunrise, in partnership with US Hunger, will be held on October 7, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the YMCA Boca Raton Campus at 6631 Palmetto Cir S Boca Raton, FL. We will be packing 10,000 meals for hungry families in the Boca Raton Community. US Hunger will deliver all meals to Boca Helping Hands for distribution to families in need.
Rotarians from other clubs are welcome to join us!
