Today is a good day! 2 months exactly, Jack was struck by a car as he biked to school. That was a phone call I will never forget. To say he was lucky is an understatement. I with all of my heart believe an angel bubble wrapped him as he hit the ground. He walked away with both wrists broken and a pretty banged up face, but again very, very lucky. It messed with my head, even though he was ok. I would let my mind go to the “what if’s”.

It seems like it was so long ago and so many crazy things have happened since. Because of what is going on, finding a bike has been a challenge. Today, Jack got his new bike! He has no fear and is right back being Jack.

Right now we are all with our kids a lot more than we may be used to. They are driving us crazy, not a moment alone to breathe or think. We all have those days. I come back to that moment and I am beyond grateful that I have this time at home with them. They are the only people I can hug right now. Cherish every moment because everything can truly change in an instant. ♥️🙏🏻🚲
