This Fourth of July, we're grateful for the gift of freedom and the chance to use that freedom to serve others.
As we celebrate, we remember our brothers and sisters around the world who are facing difficult circumstances, and we're thankful for supporters like you who help bring hope where it's needed most.

As we look back on Archbishop James R. Golka’s visit to our partners in Guatemala, we're reminded of the lasting impact of our shared mission....
Loving and Gracious God,
We lift up our board member, Archbishop Golka, as he journeys to Rome to be united with the Holy Father and the bishops of the Church. Bless him during this sacred pilgrimage and fill him with Your grace, wisdom, and strength.
As he receives the pallium, a sign of his pastoral ministry and communion with the Successor of Peter, renew in him the heart of the Good Shepherd. May he continue to seek the lost, comfort the suffering, and lead the people entrusted to his care with humility, courage, and love.
May his time in Rome, especially his prayer at the tombs of the Apostles Peter and Paul, deepen his faith and strengthen his commitment to proclaim the Gospel. Renew him spiritually and grant that the fruits of this pilgrimage may bless the faithful of the archdiocese he serves.
Guide him always by the power of the Holy Spirit, that his ministry may bear abundant fruit in faith, hope, and charity.
We ask this through the intercession of St. Agnes on whose tomb the pallium was placed before being given to Archbishop Golka and in the powerful name of Jesus, the Good Shepherd. Amen.
