"Puff" is the kind of film that you have to own for those crazy nights when you get home at 3 AM with a bunch of friends and just can't sleep, so you need something to light you up.

We have 3 other feature comedies in our lineup that we are raising financing to shoot. These are "Los Angeles", "Morning Dew" and "The Burnout Olympics".

Psychedelic Pictures was created by Writer/Director Tod Lautenberg and Manager/Producer Jolana Opava in 2011.

Tod Lautenberg worked for years as a film editor working himself up from assistant to editor. Tod worked on network shows such as "The Simpsons" & "Scrubs" and features such as "Independence Day" at 20th Century Fox and "Sorority Boys" at Disney/Touchstone. Tod started with Oscar winning editor Richard Halsey (Rocky, Max Rose). Tod has written five feature length comedies including his directorial debut "Puff" and is working on his 6th.

Jolana Opava started out designing and sewing her own clothes and acting. She moved to Los Angeles from the Czech Republic and worked many jobs in the industry. Jolana was part of the Costume Department on independent features like "Dogtown" and Wim Wender's "Million Dollar Hotel". She moved on to production management and later business management. Jolana began to represent Tod Lautenberg as a upcoming Writer/Editor/Director triple threat in 2009. Jolana Opava oversaw the Production of "Puff" from Development to the Final Mix.

"Puff" is a new kind of genre film called a Psychedelic Comedy. What is unique about "Puff' is that all the music in the film is from live bands with wild crowds. This film is akin to seeing a dynamite concert even when you are watching a romantic scene between a couple or a fight. What makes it Psychedelic is that each scene is a completely different world within itself. The Movie was originally called "Luff' after a line in a Woody Allen's film Annie Hall “I Luff you, with 2 F’s", but people smoke so much grass in the film we decided "Puff" would be more appropriate. As the Character John says “Let’s face it, if wasn’t for the pot, we would all be losers, instead of living in Manhattan.”

Record tax money is being made from the legalization of ma*****na in Colorado and Washington State in the USA. It will spread like wild fire and open a new market of people to watch our films. Psychedelic Pictures is ahead of the game my friends. There is incredible potential for growth and success.

Psychedelic Pictures is currently seeking distribution to release the film in theaters across the world followed by endless run of plays on home, video, on demand, and whatever technology they invent next.
