There are seasons when faith doesn't look like having all the answers. It looks like simply refusing to let go.
Jacob wrestled with God through the night, holding on with everything he had. Then, with just a touch, God changed everything. Jacob's strength was gone, but his dependence on God had never been greater.
And maybe that's the point.
Sometimes God allows us to come to the end of ourselves so we'll discover that He's been enough all along.
When life feels uncertain, when prayers seem unanswered, when you're carrying more than you know how to handle, faith isn't always about fighting harder. Sometimes it's about holding tighter.
"I will not let You go."
Those are words we can pray too.
Not because our grip is strong, but because the God we're holding onto is faithful. Even when we're weak, He remains our strength.

As we celebrate Independence Day and 250 years of our nation's story, we're grateful for the freedoms we've been given and for the people who have sacrificed to protect them.
Today is a chance to enjoy time with family, gather with friends, and reflect on the blessings we often take for granted.
But it's also a reminder that our deepest hope has never rested in a nation, a moment in history, or even our circumstances.
Our hope is found in Jesus. The One who offers a freedom that no hardship can take away and a kingdom that will never end.
As we celebrate today, may we be thankful, pray for our country and its leaders, love our neighbors well, and continue pointing people to the hope that lasts.
