Step platform drills are a simple but incredibly effective way to improve foot speed, coordination, balance, rhythm, and agility. They challenge players to move quickly while staying light and controlled—qualities that translate directly to better court movement.🎾🏃🏻
15–20 seconds of maximum-intensity work.
3 rounds per exercise.
📌Focus on quick, light feet, staying on the balls of the feet, and maintaining proper technique.
For younger players (8–12 years old), 15 seconds is often ideal. Older juniors and advanced players can work up to 20–25 seconds, but the goal is always quality over fatigue.
10 single-leg hops per leg. Prioritize control over speed.

Learn to load on your back leg first, then transfer your weight forward as you swing. When your body moves efficiently, you don’t have to force the ball—the power comes naturally.
