Fake "environmentalism" is no longer a useful tool for politicians now that residents are all informed about what happened to Red Reef and all the natural destruction of ecosystem that "Beach Renourishment" causes.
This destruction of species and habitat must be discontinued. Where is 4ocean on this?
You may see some activity this week - mobilization will begin for a renourishment project to restore and maintain the beaches south of the Boca Raton Inlet to the southern City limits. The project will continue to Deerfield Beach and the Town of Hillsboro. Active construction is anticipated mid-March and completed by May 1, 2023.
Navigation for boaters WILL NOT be blocked by the construction activities and Boca Raton Inlet WILL NOT be closed. Additionally, approx. 500 feet of beach around the active area will be closed to the public. All other areas of the beach will remain open. www.myboca.us/364/Coastal-Management
