The Department is divided into two divisions. The Field Services Division handles functions such as road patrol, investigations, and crime scene. – Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Officer Reis received a scholarship to attend Lindenwood University in Missouri, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. 🎓
He later moved to Miami to pursue coaching and personal training but was drawn to a profession where he could protect others and hold offenders accountable. He said he’s grateful for the community he serves and reflected on a heartfelt gesture from a local couple who handmade crochet blankets for his children as a sign of appreciation.
One of the most meaningful moments of his law enforcement career was assisting a special needs child in distress during a call for service - an experience that continues to stay with him.
Outside of work, Officer Reis enjoys spending time with his family, practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, weightlifting, and automotive sports.
FUN FACTS: Officer Reis is a proud father of triplets 💙💙💙… and a two-time Brazilian Olympic weightlifter! 🏋🏽♂️

Today, the Boca Raton Police Honor Guard attended the National Peace Officers Memorial Service in Washington, D.C., to honor law enforcement officers who lost their lives in the line of duty. May we always remember their courage, dedication and sacrifice. 🇺🇸
