DELTA TO EXPAND FACIAL RECOGNITION PROGRAM

Following successful pilot programs in Atlanta and Detroit, Delta Air Lines is rolling out voluntary facial-recognition initiatives at airports in New York and Los Angeles. The initiative allows travelers to seamlessly navigate security lanes and check their bags without the necessity of presenting a physical ID card. To use facial recognition, travelers must have a TSA PreCheck membership.

Hyatt Hotels Corp. announced the company plans to open 37 luxury hotels and resorts globally through 2025 amid “increased demand” for luxury travel. Hyatt's plan includes international brand debuts for several properties, including the introduction of Park Hyatt properties in the U.K., Malaysia, and Mexico and the first Thompson Hotel-branded properties in Italy and Austria. Make sure to acquire and utilize your Hilton Honors Number.
