It is so essential to nurture a child’s strengths.
After many years parenting and years beside children and families as a therapist, this story evolved and found its way to me.
I created it to encourage self-acceptance, self-belief, and self-determination, foundations children need to feel confident and secure. When a child feels understood, their strengths begin to shine. Enchanting the Sea was written to be a safe place where children can recognize themselves and feel worthy of who they are. 🧡
Collaborating again with Alessandra Cimatoribus felt destined. Even oceans apart, her shared love of nature transformed words into waves of engaging and colorful hand-painted expressions.
It is exciting when years of learning lead us to a moment where we can give something back 🤗

I have a lot of gratitude for your support as I reveal the cover of my upcoming children’s book! I am also so thankful and want to acknowledge a very talented artist for taking her time to bring Dune, a majestical and spirited manta ray to life with her beautiful hand painted illustrations.
Enchanting the Sea releases in two months, but today’s cover reveal is the first wave of something worth waiting for!
Research shows that children with ADHD hear far more negative comments than positive ones. I wanted to create a story that flips that narrative, celebrating their abilities, curiosity, determination and courage.
Below the surface, manta rays have the most amazing smiles. Below the surface, children with ADHD have strengths that can shine and rise like the tide. .
My wish is that this book will bring a Ray of Happiness to kids and new perspective in parenting and teaching children with ADHD. 🪸❤️

✨My intention is that through the inspiration of a story, children can gain a sense of the skills the lemur learned and apply them to reduce anxiety. To understand the option of letting fear pass through and go on its merry way rather than residing within them, making it difficult to regulate emotions. My intention is also to help facilitate conversations, allowing caregivers to be safe recipients - creating a supportive environment where children can express their inner thoughts, while at the same time, enjoy an adventure in nature with extra fun animals.
