We encourage slow, meditative practice emphasizing breath and awareness while creating physical and emotional balance. Yoga is an endless path where each Asana is an invitation to promote awareness, recognize tension, and practice to relax it. A new class is up in the VOD library: Open and Flow to Balance.
The vinyasa in this class combines a moon salutation with a small sun salutation — the latter done on the knees, a quieter, more inward variation than the standing version. Together they warm the body from the ground up, building on a hip-opening sequence that moves through pigeon variations, baddhakonasana, and a squat — so that by the time you reach the standing balance poses, your hips, legs, and feet are genuinely ready.
A good class to return to when you want your balance work to feel earned.

This week's class is now on the VOD — The Sounding Spine.

We begin lying down, connecting the full length of the torso to ujjayi breath. Here, the sound vibration takes on a specific role: it carries us behind the mental motions, into a quieter layer before we even begin to move.

From there, the spine leads: releasing from seated, rising through tabletop to standing, moving between warriors, mobilizing in multiple directions. A prone sequence strengthens the posterior chain before we release into a twist. And then we return to stillness — to the silence of fullness and the silence of emptiness.

New class, same invitation. Come practice. 👉 keshavaradhayoga.com
