Yesterday we learned of the unthinkable, that a person whose friendship we have treasured since the day we met all the way back in 2016, was along with her 2 year old son, tragically taken out of this world. Sara Aponte de Gama was an amazing person who made mine and Caitlyn’s lives all the better for having been a part of it these last 8 years, and the light of the world is now dimmer for her absence. Sara is thankfully survived by her infant son, who I thank God with all my heart that he survived this tragedy. We cannot even begin to put into words the feelings and the emotional rollercoaster that Caitlyn and I have been on these last 36 hours, but we can say that it pales in comparison to what Sara’s family is experiencing. No parent or grandparent should have to bury their children or grandchildren, and this injustice has shattered our hearts

We humbly implore everyone to not only donate, but please share the link to this GoFundMe page to help the family with all funerary expenses and help provide for Sara’s infant son. Our honest hope is that through this GoFundMe we might be able to have enough to ensure that his eventual college tuition could be paid for.

It doesn't even have to be anything huge; it can be a small detail that expresses who you are. Here, Lucas chose a blue tie and pocket square because he's a percussionist and his favorite drum set is blue. He even wore cufflinks that looked cymbals. You couldn't tell unless you were looking up close, but it's those details he will remember, and part of what made the day a special symbol of his other love - music.

Tiffany and Danny love their sweets, but wanted something more casual and fun for their guests. They chose a stunning FLOATING dessert bar with cookies, donuts, mini tarts, mousse, and their favorite chocolate-dipped cookie sandwiches. Guests were delighted and it made a perfect gathering spot throughout the day. ⁠
