Trieschmann Dumala Architectural Group (TDAG) is seeking an Interior Designer to join our team. The Interior Designer will participate in all phases of the project including project planning, conceptual design, and project completion. The successful candidate will have experience working on commercial/corporate interiors projects and be proficient in AutoCAD.

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Boca Raton, FL

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on commercial interiors projects, conceptual and schematic design, design development and construction documents.
• Develop space planning concepts, generate program documents and test fits
• Coordination for finish plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction
• Field verification site visits
• Strong knowledge of Building Code
• Strong knowledge of the design process and Construction documents
• Maintain an understanding of current design trends and products.
• Develop plans, elevations and architectural details that illustrate the design intent and use of materials.
• Ability to work on multiple projects
• Work with consultants, furniture dealers, product reps to meet overall project objectives
• Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination
• Perform interior design assignments that include conceptual design, schematic design, design development & construction documents

Qualifications:
• 5 years of Corporate Interior Design experience
• Proficient in AutoCad, SketchUp and other modeling software programs
• Proficient in design and detailing
• Bachelors’ Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from accredited school
• Excellent graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas
• Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials and specifications
• Good collaboration skills, organized and able to work in a team environment
• Certification or state licensed is a plus but not required
