Let’s talk movement! 👀
This week’s Embryo of the Week is actually about s***m motility — what we’re looking at in a normal semen analysis and what healthy movement looks like under the microscope.
In a normal sample, we expect to see s***m actively swimming forward in a coordinated, purposeful way. Motility matters because it directly impacts the ability of s***m to reach and fertilize the egg, and it is one of the key factors we evaluate in fertility testing.

Supplement of the Week: Melatonin 🌙
Most people know melatonin as a “sleep supplement,” but in fertility conversations, it’s getting attention for another reason too: its antioxidant properties and potential role in supporting egg quality.

Fertility journey edition! What would make your list?
This week we’re doing something a little different, we’re looking at mouse embryos!
Mouse Embryo Assay (MEA) is a quality control test used in IVF labs to evaluate the safety and performance of culture media and lab conditions. Mouse embryos are cultured in the same environment as human embryos would be, helping embryologists confirm that everything in the lab is optimized for healthy development.
It’s one of the behind-the-scenes ways our team protects embryo quality long before culture ever happens. 🧬
An unforgettable evening celebrating the incredible providers who continue to make a difference across South Florida. ✨
We are so grateful to be surrounded by individuals who share the same passion for helping families grow. Thank you for being part of such a meaningful night, and for the care, support, and dedication you bring to your patients each day!
This embryo has fully hatched and is ready for transfer, even with an abnormal zona pellucida. 🔬
The zona is the embryo’s outer shell, and while its appearance can vary, what matters most is how the embryo develops.

Trying to conceive? This is your reminder to check what’s in your medicine cabinet 👀
NSAIDs like ibuprofen may interfere with ovulation in some patients by delaying or preventing the release of an egg. That doesn’t mean you can never take them; it just means timing and context matter.
If you’re and have questions about medications, don’t spiral on Google. Ask your fertility specialist!
